#11: Regretberries!

Yay for friends who Know Art and told me how to improve the way these things show up on the Internets. Expect me to go back and fix some of the older stuff.

What I'm looking for in a comic strip made by me.

So, the comic is coming, but I find myself tied up with character sketches. I'm actually putting effort into the way that it looks! Not that anyone who sees it will be able to tell. The fact that I do it very hurriedly (because I want it to look that way) and that I do it in pen makes it hard to get it right, because one mistake and I have to start all over, a process which leads to what I call "artistic compromises" or "forced creativity." I do want it to look spontaneous - optimally, it will be spontaneous - but at the same time, I want peoples' hair to look cool. So, I thought that I would experiment with preliminary work, and it's been interesting, but it's also been taking time.

Comic #7

So, I briefly let the realisation that I can't draw get in the way of drawing. But, "art" must persevere, and so I'm back. Actually, I'm back with some older stuff, but some newer stuff is ready, and you haven't seen this before, anyway.
The robot's adventures continue...

Comic #6

At one point I wanted to write about a hip/hop group 1,000 years in the future. This was their manager. He has a lot of mouths.
